January 29 – A Strong Refuge

Scripture: “The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him.” Nahum 1:7 (NLT).

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my refuge and my safe place in times of trouble. I trust in Your goodness and lean on Your strength. Help me to run to You first, not last, when difficulties arise. In Jesus’ name, Amen and thank God.

Reflection (Encouragement + Prompt): When trouble comes, do I run to God as my refuge or to other things that cannot save me?

Application / Coping Skill: Write down one trouble you are facing and invite God to be your refuge in it.

Closing: The Lord is my refuge, good and close to me when I trust Him.
